CONNIE LUNDSTROM (1938-2011)

Wife of Christian Evangelist, Lowell Lundstrom, for 54
years........aswell as Christian singer, songwriter in her own right.


The couple founded the Lundstrom Ministries, and traveled North America,
in two buses, preaching and singing for the Lord. They even had a
television ministry for many years, and were on stations across North
America.


Connie died of cancer, in December. She was 73 years old.

i have never heard of them

They used to be on TV, back in the 70's. I remember them. They were on
our local stations. But, they never got BIG names, like Billy Graham,
or Oral Roberts.

i rmember the Oral Roberts show is he still alive haven't seen him for
years

NOPE. Oral Roberts died a few years ago. He was in his early 90's (I
believe). And, lived a good, long life.


I used to watch his show too, when I was younger. But, he had some
scandals surrounding his "City of Faith" hospital he built, back in the
70's, early 80's. He said he needed money, (it was millions) of
dollars, to finish it. He said if he didn't get it, God would "call
him home", (kill him). He lost me after that. I never really trusted
him again.
But, oh well.


A dog track owner gave him the money he needed. He said he felt sorry
for Roberts. In the end, Roberts had to close the hospital. It was too
big (10,000 beds). And, too expensive to run.


The Lundstroms were more down to earth.

I been watching Jim Bakker off & on he's building a big mansion for
girls to change their mind about abortion...i think to myself he claims
to be all about God but this place their building is too fancy they
could make just as nice of one on a much smaller scale doesn;t God tell
us not to be materialistic..seems to me he never learned nothing by
going to jail
