oh it'd getting ridulous...jack sorry if im spelling wrong i can barely
see the screen mty eyes are blurry need to get my sugar checked thats
what eye doc said even my 25 in tv is blurry so i think something
wrong....

Well, I'm back up again. I think it is just a matter of time before
they pull the plug. There really can't be that many subscribers left.
The discussion groups are losing long time posters, like flies.


Do you have diabetes ?? I had low sugar when I was younger. I just
hope it doesn't go the opposite direction. Sometimes when I eat too
much sugar, my eyesight also gets blurry. And, I notice if I don't
eat any sugar, and drink lots of water, my eyesight becomes very clear.
I've gotta get my sugar levels checked. It's been a few years.


I see Paula Dean has Type 2 diabetes. Guess too many years of eating
her rich southern cooking. But, it happens. What I don't like is her
fellow cooks, and TV chefs, are now attacking her for cooking her rich
food. One of 'em, Anthony Bourdain, who has a cooking show called "No
Reservations", was a chain smoker for YEARS. Yet, he calls Paula names.
He should keep quiet.

about 4 years ago i got tested they said i was pre diabetic so i lost
some weight and the numbers fell ...but when i went for eye exam last
sept the doc siad i should go get my sugar tested and as i hate to go to
the doc i haven't got their yet....earlier today it was perfect i was
wondering if it was because i got a real good & long sleep
yesterday..but i need to go get numbers checked again...if i have it and
need to use a needle i just can;t stick a needle in myself im gonna be
in a heap of trouble....too bad they didnt have a fast acting pill for
that

I thought they had pills, or a liquid you could take, without a needle
?? Or, am I imagining that ?? I don't know. Seems I also heard they
can put a small insulin pump just under the skin, and it would pump the
insulin for a long period of time, without having to use the needle.
Again, maybe, I'm imagining it ??

yes for one type you can try pills if you have the other i believe your
on the needle dave takes the needle and about the pump i have a feeling
you have to have money to get that i'm not 100 % on that but i have only
heard of one person with that one of the Jonas Bros and they sure could
afford it

Yeah, I imagine the pump would be expensive. But, doesn't your National
Healthcare take care of everything up there ?? (Just joking).

dave is having trouble with his laptop again...it happens at least 3
times a year
it's art of why i dont get one i have no patine i would through it off
the balcony..lol

i hearf the premier say yesterday at budget time they are gonna cut back
on more services covered by the provincial healthcare....god only knows
what that means not good i would imagine ... makes me angry i rarely use
the doc anyways and yet i know people they sneeze and they run to the
doctor...i think they should allow you so many visits a year and after
that you pay a little something better than cutting certain services JMO

them other cooks need to mind their own business...there is no law
saying we have any right to know her business...that's up to her

i never watched her shows but saw her alot of talk shows

and she is a very charitable person...helping the poor people

I guess Paula has been diabetic for 3 years. And, she didn't go public
with it. So, a lot of the cocky chefs say she was making money off
other people's misfortune, by continuing to cook her rich food. I
agree, it's NONE of their business. Especially, that Anthony Bourdain.
