Were found dead on February 26th, at age 73. They were identical twins,
who never married, never had children, and always lived together. They
bought their home in Lake Tahoe, in 1976, where they died.
Both were discovered by local police who came by to check on the
sisters. Both were badly decomposed, and had been dead for several
weeks. No sign of foul play. Both were believed to have died of
natural causes, within a short time of each other.
They were discovered by Bing Crosby, after he saw them on a early 1950's
tv show. He put them in his stage shows, where they danced. In later
years they held normal jobs, as clerical workers. But, few records
exist on the sisters. They kept to themselves, and rarely left their
home.
I NEVER heard of them. But, their story IS weird, and interesting.
